The next series of articles will focus on common swing flaws the physical relationships to those flaws. Over the years I have had the privilege of working with thousands of golfers, assisting them in the process of alleviated their swing flaws.  There is NO doubt in my mind that the body is the main reason golfers experience swing flaws.  For example if you cannot get your torso to make a turn, cannot rotate your hips, or you are out of balance, swing flaws will occur.

Teetering or Balanced?

The golf swing begins in the address position, described as static because the body is static or stationary. Once you begin the take away the movement is now dynamic, requiring core stabilization, body awareness and mental focus.

 

Developing A Balanced Body

It is essential to develop a balanced body. One way to do this is to practice training the opposing muscle groups, such as the abdominals or the front body immediately followed by training the muscles of the back or the back body.

Facilitating Better Balance Part 1

I work with a wide demographic of amateur and professional golfers as well as Major League Baseball players.  One of the key common components in both sports - they require a tremendous amount of balance. My true joy is helping the average golfer (just like me) perform better on the course and feel better off the course.
