For More Information View Below

The Yoga for Golfers Instructor program was developed in 2000 to satisfy the demand for Yoga for Golfers instruction and techniques at the local level. Since that time we have trained yoga and fitness professionals, PGA / LPGA instructors, physicians and wellness professionals in 12 countries.

Certified Yoga for Golfers-trained instructors offer a range of services and instruction and all follow the fundamental teachings and concepts I present in our book and video products. During an intensive three and half days of instruction each professional receives training on the following:

- The correlations and benefits of yoga for golf performance
- The basic mechanics of the golf swing, anatomy, muscles
affected and common injuries
- The yoga poses, the muscles affected, indications and
contraindications of each pose, modifications of
each pose and the direct golf benefit of each pose
- Adapting training to meet the specific needs of the
student(s)

“Katherine’s Yoga for Golfers Teacher Training was a life changing event.  I met a diverse and fabulous group of women form all over the world – we clicked as a group from the first nights seminar at Katherine’s home.  The training itself was wonderful;  Katherine and her esteemed group of instructors covered a full range of topics to ensure that we received all of the information necessary to be successful upon graduation.  I highly recommend the course and would head back to Scottsdale in an instant to do it all again!” Jen Dearing – Certified Yoga for Golfers Instructor
